At the same time, the LCD panel manufacturer (AU Optronics) also announced that it has cooperated with global electronics giants to form the 8K Association (8KA) to jointly promote the development of the 8K ecosystem.
LCD display becomes a key interface for smart home, entertainment and transportation
With the continuous improvement of the LCD screen size, resolution and image quality of home TVs, AUO stated that it has invested a lot of research and development efforts to develop advanced display skills, and launched such as 85-inch 8K4K (76804320) borderless ALCD TV monitors, which have low Features such as reflection, 120Hz refresh rate, quantum dot wide color gamut and curved design, as well as a 65-inch borderless TV display with a peak brightness of up to 2000 nits and a 3.5mm ultra-thin black matrix.
Regarding gaming applications, AUO LCD manufacturers stated that they have exhibited a series of gaming monitors and laptop monitors, which have the advantages of high refresh rate, high resolution, and borderless design. Meanwhile, the 27-inch QHD (25601440) display has a 165Hz refresh rate and a response time of 1ms, and is equipped with AHVA technology.
In addition, a UHD 4K (38402160) gaming laptop monitor was also exhibited, with a Mini LED backlight with 240 dimming zones and a peak brightness exceeding 1000 nits.
AUO's LCD display manufacturer stated that its 14-inch full HD T-con embedded driver LTPS LCD uses a special MUX (multiplexer) plan, which effectively reduces the PCBA to an extremely small scale. This slim and lightweight laptop monitor consumes less than 1 watt under normal brightness of 150 nits, making it an ideal choice for travel.
AUO's LCD display manufacturer pointed out that the company has vigorously developed high-performance and free-form vehicle displays to perfectly blend with the automotive interior planning. It is characterized by an ultra-high resolution vehicle cockpit LCD display, which is directly bonded and laminated, with a 12.3-inch combined appearance, 13.2-inch CID, and 12.3-inch front passenger seat contact panel.
8K Association
